Chris made sure the weekend was one to remember — sweeping both races and putting VDE Racing right back on top.

It was a brutal one, too. The temps hovered around 90 degrees all weekend, and after getting to the track Wednesday night and setting up Thursday, Friday was our first real look at the new truck on this track. Chris didn’t test beforehand, and practice was rough. He biked it, nearly rolling it in Talladega, and never really got that clean lap he needed to dial things in for qualifying.

Even so, Chris still qualified fifth in a stacked field, with only about half a second between the top six. A 2-invert meant he had work to do from the start, but Chris didn’t blink.

Saturday was chaos early, with contact over the spectator hill sending him swapping around and nearly into a catastrophic roll before he settled in and fought back from seventh. He quickly charged back through the field and methodically reeled in Wyatt Miller and Nick Visser as the track got deeper, rougher, and more brutal by the lap. After the competition caution came out, Wyatt got caught in a hole in the split lane, Visser got crossed up, and Chris seized the moment — taking the lead and never giving it back.

Sunday was even cleaner. Chris rolled off from pole, led every lap, and stayed cool under pressure when Wyatt made a late push. When the checkered flag fell, Chris had done it again — a weekend sweep, his second and third wins in a row, matching his streak from last season.

Now he’s sitting second in points, just 3 points behind Visser, and we’re headed to Dirt City Motorplex in Lena, WI with all the momentum in the world.

Next stop is Dirt City Motorplex in Lena, WI, a tight, technical bullring built by the local Lena Motorsports Club that packs a one‑mile short course, natural viewing hillsides, and some of the closest door‑to‑door racing on the tour. Just 30 miles north of Green Bay, the whole town gets behind this event, from the Thunder on Main Friday night parade downtown to fans lining the fences all weekend long.

Chris has had a little bit of everything here over the years, and it’s where last year’s win streak took a hit on Saturday before he bounced right back with another win on Sunday. That’s the kind of place Dirt City can be: fast, unforgiving, and full of chances to make a statement. We’re rolling in with momentum, a point to prove, and one goal in mind — keep the streak alive.
